The Commandments

Welcome to the party!

The Commandments pay tribute to the great legends and the stars of the Motown and northern soul era, and by adding in some funky disco and instrumental classics they will cater for all ages and are guaranteed to have the audience shouting for more.

With their high energy choreographed show they provide an electric atmosphere to any occasion.

Their six to eight piece line-up consists of:

–   Kicking drums and groovy bass to provide the funky foundations
–   The mighty sound of horns and smooth sax for that true stax tradition
–   The uncompromising driving rhythm of the guitar and keys
–   Female vocalist with glamour and sophistication to provide those gospel sweet harmonies
–   The soul man’s powerful gritty lead vocals get the party going and the crowd on their feet

The Commandments recreate the sounds of many artistes across the decades and are the perfect high energy band to perform at your wedding reception.
